May 12, 2004 City Council Minutes
Mayor Roy Paslay called the May 12, 2004 Lecompton CityCouncil meeting to order at 7:12 P.M. Chuck Folks, Mark Tunstall, Eddie Smith, Mayor Roy Paslay,Superintendent Justin VanWinkle, and City Clerk Sandy Nichols were present.
Donna Crawford, grant coordinator and Kenneth Shetlar, P.E.,were present to discuss future needs regarding a grant for a new water well.
Roy will talk to Howard Duncan regarding easement if thewell were to want to be placed on his ground.
Mr. Shetlar will check on the amount of land needed in theeasement for the well.
The old pump will be used in the new well and a new pumppurchased in the future when needed.
Donna reported a 96.6% return on the survey done within thecity limits.
8:30 PM Mark made a motion to adjourn. Chuck seconded the motion.
