7:00 P.M. Mayor Paslay, Council Members Tim McNish, Ed Smith, Mark Tunstall, Jennifer Jones and Chuck Folks were present. Superintendent Justin VanWinkle, City Clerk Sandy Nichols, and City Attorney Larry Hendricks were present. Citizens Mr. & Mrs. Harold Bunce, Steve Fugett and John Chaney were present.

John Chaney presented his plans for work to be done at the Southcrest subdivision area and also work he hopes to do on 7th Street. The Planning Commission encouraged Mr. Chaney to continue with his planning. The Planning Commission will adjourn to March 27, 2006 to meet with Mr. Chaney.

Bruce Liese discussed interest in having a special use permit.

The Planning Commission agreed to email approved minutes to the City Clerk to be placed on the web site.

There was discussion to have another meeting with the County Commissioners regarding the bridge. The City Council was in favor.
A report was given regarding County Commissions Rural Development Plan. The City Council was requested to include discussion of encroachment of their city limits on the March 20, 2006 agenda
The City Council agreed to have a joint meeting with the Planning Commission and a representative of the State Historical Society regarding the Community Building. It was suggested to contact Wint Winters regarding a grant for the Community Building.
A City Council agenda will be set out for the public attending City Council meetings.
The City Council agreed to discuss a City Slogan at their March 20, 2006 meeting.
A report was given regarding attendance by Planning Commission Members at City Council meetings.

9:05 Chuck motioned to adjourn the City Council meeting. Jennifer seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
