June 10, 2006 Lecompton City Council Minutes
8:28 A.M. the Lecompton City Council meeting came to order. President Tim McNish, Council Members Mark Tunstall and Bruce Liese were present. Also present were the City Clerk and Superintendent.
There was discussion regarding cleaning of ditches and the need for culvert tubing. Mark made a motion to have Justin purchase 300 feet of culvert tubing needed. Tim seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
There was discussion of chip and seal. No action was taken
There was discussion regarding purchases at Kroegers. No action was taken.
There was discussion regarding budget funding. No action was taken.
Justin will take Bruce on a tour of the city facilities.
Justin was requested to make a list of roads needing chip and seal.
There was discussion of the uses of the backhoe and the cost of a new backhoe. No action was taken.
There was discussion regarding possible sell of the blue truck and the small flat bed truck and purchase a one ton, not in the near future but something to think about. No action was taken.
9:00 A.M. Mark made a motion to adjourn. Tim seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
