Lecompton Planning and Zoning Commission
Monday, August 14, 2006

Call to Order: 7:05 pm, Greg Trendel
Present: Darby Lohrding, Nancy Howard, Jennifer Smith, Jeff Robertson, Kimber Richter

Approval of Minutes: Jeff motioned, Jennifer seconded motion to approve July 10 minutes. Minutes approved unanimously.
New Business:
None.
Old Business:
Mike Goodrich withdrew his rezoning request, so the City Commission will not need to act on it.
John Riggs conducted a training on the roles and responsibilities of Planning Commissions and Boards of Zoning Appeal (BZA). He reviewed State laws governing these bodies and discussed hypothetical situations posed by attendees. Our BZA doesn’t have bylaws, so it should develop some. Jennifer motioned to adjourn, Jeff seconded.
Greg Trendel adjourned the meeting at 9:15 pm.
