December 7, 2006 Lecompton City Council Special Meeting Minutes
6 P.M. Mayor Paslay brought the Special Meeting to discuss the purchase of a truck, snowplow, bed and any other necessary equipment for the truck to order. Council Members Mark Tunstall, Tim McNish and Ed Smith were present. Council Member Chuck Folks was not present. City Superintendent Justin VanWinkle presented the Council with information regarding a truck that was available to purchase. 6:05 P.M. Council Member Bruce Liese was present.
There was discussion regarding the cost of the truck, difference in trade-in value being offered, and the options on this truck. The council requested Justin continue looking at trucks, also different makes and possible used vehicles for a better price.
6:30 Ed made a motion to adjourn. Tim seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
