January 9, 2007 Lecompton City Council Special Meeting Minutes
Roy Paslay opened the meeting at 6:05 P.M. .
Council members Mark Tunstall, Tim McNish, Chuck Folks and Ed Smith were present. Council Member Bruce Liese was absent. Dan Fischer from USDA Rural Development and Sandy Nichols City Clerk were present.
Dan Fischer was present to present information and answer questions regarding the CDBG grant and Rural Development loan/grant.
After discussion Ed made a motion to accept the information and authorize the mayor and city clerk to sign the necessary papers for this project including the following: Request for Obligation of Funds; Letter of Conditions; Resolution 231 Loan Resolution; Resolution 232 Loan Resolution Security Agreement; Estimate Operating Budget; Grant Agreement.
6:25 Ed made a motion to adjourn. Mark seconded and the vote was unanimous.
