Lecompton Planning and Zoning Commission
Monday, May 12, 2008

Call to Order: Jeff called the meeting to order at 7:12.
Roll call:
Present: Kim Richter, Jeff Robertson, Mary Jane Hoffer, Paul Maline
Absent: Darby Lohrding
Approval of Minutes: Mary Jane moved, Paul seconded acceptance of the minutes, pending changing “Hewlet” to “Fugett”. Passed unanimously.
Presentation of Requests and Petitions: None
Notices and Communications:
– Betty Corel is interested will probably be appointed by the Mayor to join the planning & zoning commission.
– Paul is interested in the BZA, but he wants to visit a meeting and see what they do. If he agrees to serve, the Mayor can appoint him on May 19.
Reports of Standing and Special Committees: None
Old Business:
Discussed status of Shane Jones’ questions regarding Jones road. Mr. Jones needs to platte the property in order to establish the actual road easement and determine whether the road needs to be re-routed to provide proper easement with respect to all properties.
New Business:
Mary Jane motioned, Paul seconded that we adjourn the meeting. Jeff adjourned the meeting at 7:55..
