May 23, 2011 LECOMPTON CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
7:00 P.M. Mayor Mark L. Tunstall brought the Lecompton City Council Special Meeting to discuss the purchase of a road grader to order at 327 Elmore, Lecompton, KS. Council Members Jimmy Wilkins, Tim McNish, and Christy Mallonee were present. 7:05 PM Elsie Middleton arrived. The following were also present: City Clerk Sandy Nichols and City Superintendent Justin Van Winkle.
After discussion Jennifer Smith made a motion to approve spend $20,000 plus expenses to purchase the road grader. Jimmy seconded the motion and the vote passed 4 yeas, 1 nay.
7:20 P.M. Jennifer Smith made a motion to adjourn. Jimmy Wilkins seconded the motion and the motion passed 5 yeas, 0 nays.
