March 19, 2012 LECOMPTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
7:00 P.M. Mayor Mark L. Tunstall brought the Lecompton City Council Meeting to order at 327 Elmore, Lecompton, KS. Council Members Tim McNish, Christy Mallonee, Elsie Middleton, and Jennifer Smith were present. Jimmy Wilkins was not present at roll call. The following were also present: City Clerk Lynley Sanford, City Superintendent Justin VanWinkle; residents or township citizens: Victoria Bahnmaier, William Roberts, Cythia Gleen, Dave Glenn, Brenda Hastert, Pam Wingert, Bob Jarnigan, Mary Lou and Bob Morris, Roy Paslay, Mary Jane Hoffer, Paul Bahnmaier, Kim Stewart, Nancy Ketter, Angie Gantz (Perry) and others that did not sign in.
Jennifer Smith motioned to approve the March 05, 2012 meeting minutes. Tim McNish seconded the motion. Vote carried 4 yays 0 nays
Tim McNish made a motion to approve the bills before the Council. Elsie Middleton seconded the motion and the vote passed 4 yeas, 0 nays.
Elsie Middleton brought forth a presentation/slide show and information to review from the Old Lecompton High-School committee board. Discussion about what the city and the residents of Lecompton would like to see happen with the building incurred.
Christy Mallonee and Jennifer Smith requested resignation from the City Council
At 8:00pm – The City Council Meeting no longer had enough Council Members present to have a quorum or continue with the Council Meeting.
