Carol Howard motioned to approve meeting minutes from June 9, 2021. Jamie Newman seconded the motion. Motion passed with 3 yeas, 0 nays.
New Business:
• Renewal of terms for Jamie Neman, Michael Shields, Martin Huerter and Erin Herschell terms are up for renwal. All members agreed they would like to maintain their appointment on the planning commission board.
Jamie Nally motioned to approve the renewal of terms for the planning commission members, Carold Howard seconded the motion. Motion passed 4 yays/0 nays.
• Carol Howard motioned to approve Vickie Clark as chair person of the planning commission. Jamie Newman seconded the motion. Motion passed 4 yeas, 0 nays.
• Jamie Newman motioned to approve Erin Herschell as the planning commission secretary. Martin Huerter seconded the motion. Motion passed 4 yeas, 0 nays.
• Martin Huerter volunteered to be vice chair for the planning commission. Jamie Newman motioned to approve Martin Huerter for the vice chair position. Carol Howard seconded the motion. Motion passed 3 yays/0 nays/1 abstain (Martin Huerter)

There were no presentations of requests or petitions.
Notices and Communication:
– A replat of the Idyllwild subdivision has been submitted. The county surveyor has reviewed and edits suggested. Waiting on completed survey plans and word from Evergy regarding an electrical line/utility easement before it is officially submitted.
