August 14, 2024 LECOMPTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
6:30 P.M. Mayor Jimmy Wilkins brought the Lecompton City Council Special Meeting to order at 327 Elmore St. Lecompton, KS. Council Members Mary Jane Hoffer, Stephanie Confer, Steve Freeman and Owen Mallonee were present at roll call. Council member Troy Clark was absent. City Clerk Lynley Sanford was also present. There were no residents or township members present.
City Council discussed application from interviews on Monday August 12th.
Stephanie Confer motioned to approve hiring applicant John Davis to start as soon as possible at the pay rate of $23/hr, with a city vehicle, with potential for pay increase and consideration of promotion after a performance review in 6 months.
Steve Freeman seconded the motion

7:55pm – Stephanie Confer motioned to adjourn. Mary Jane Hoffer seconded the motion.
