– No additional window bids at this time, working on it
– Flooring at Old Rural High School started on 5/17
– A/C on 3rd floor of Old Rural High School – Breaker was off – fixed
– Replaced meter at 311 Halderman
– Duck weed – under control/Tyler scooped out dead algae.
– Working on finding street valves – have located some
Lynley –
– Alley issue between Boone & Halderman, had Dg. Co. Surveyor office come out, located property pins for adjacent properties and was able to define the alley.
– Lawrence Douglas County Emergency Management ~ Time to renew appointed position ~ Current representative Chris Johnston. Would City Council consider his reappointment for 1 year.
Old business –
– Waiver of conflict with Historical Society
– Updates if any for paperwork/process of land transfer with USD 343 – No Current Updates known –
– Updates or review if any for memorandum of understanding for Historical Society with the City to cooperate in good faith to come to an agreement on land that will become the Historical Society when property transfer is completed. – No current Updates known –
– 534 Whitfield: Letter requesting more time – Has called on dumpsters and none are available right now, waiting on availability. Would the council consider granting more time.
New business –
– Lecompton Community Empowerment pledges up to 10,000 for flooring repairs (Greg Howard)
– Electric permit was approved by Mayor for Pedestal installation at 619 Whitfield Lot 21&23C
– Permit review for Solar Panel installation at 301 Clark St.
– Salt Bid Approval
– Resolution 328 / Temporary Street Closure Elmore St on 5/31/2025

– Verbal complaint to the office about barking dogs being a nuisance
dogs located at 619 Whitfield LOT 19B
